Danish teenager Ibrahim Mansaray has been given clearance to play for Cardiff.
The Sierra Leone-born midfielder, who holds a Danish passport, was among the unused substitutes at Macclesfield and Mackay said: “Ibrahim has signed a short-term contract and he’ll have every chance to show what he can do.”
Mansaray, 19, left Brondby at the end of last season and began training with City at the start of October, but it took time to get international clearances sorted.
