Austin from Burnley could be better option as he would be on cheaper wages (although higher transfer fee).

The Sordell rumour seems to have some legs up in Bolton.
There is an article in the Bolton News about his "Twitter obsession" that features this:

people are seeing something in jerome that i dont see. personally i think he is shit. He was fast, raw and clueless when he was here before and i see no evidence that his game has improved a great deal since those days. He's never spearheaded any attack but quickly gets relegated to the bench.
Sordell on the other hand has had a tough time at bolton but i remember him carrying watford in the first half of the season before he went to bolton, so for me i'd go for sordell every time ahead of jerome.

sordell personally. jerome has been average since he left us where as as stated above he excelled at watford and has struggled moving up to bolton.

His height strength and pace is exactly what we need.

I've had enough of hoofball up to 5ft10 strikers. If we're going to do it at least bring in a striker over 6ft.

Sordell can't get into Bolton team so how can he do that here? Jerome loved his time in Cardiff and plays in the PL. No brainer
