The Cardiff City Dilema .

Mon Jan 07, 2013 6:38 am

Malky Mackay could be forgiven for thinking the pressure was not on him during the first 12 months of his tenure.
The Scot managed to patch up a squad to challenge for the lottery of the play offs when most expected mid table, whilst no one expected him to get us within a whisker of our first major trophy in almost a century.

However the pressure is very much on him now,
The corner has been turned and his side are now fully focused on the ultimate prize.
Malky sent out his troops on Saturday fully confident of their ability to beat the non league maccelsield town, easier said than done.It could prove to be the most pivitol result of our season,in what was a development squads lack of respect to the opposition, was anything but for Malky.

Mackay is furious with the performance as it not only hurt us fans but his pride, And Malky is a very proud man. So it is now Malky turns his focus and attention to reaching the promised land. He has the tools at hand and he also has the funds at his disposal to achieve this goal.

The fans are a demanding bunch who have been starved of top flight for many decades now. Should this prove to be a step to far for the scot or another false dawn for the supporters. Then I expect out owners to be asking serious questions.

IN MALKY WE TRUST. :ayatollah:

You spelled dilemma wrong

Then, dont tell us what Cardiff Citys dilemma is?

Whats with the 'false dawn' bollocks? We have been top for months now, the side is proving very very
difficult to beat, we are odds on at the bookies. Hardly a 'false dawn' As for the owners asking question?
Well we are top going into the new year, we are seven points clear. ANY owner would be asking questions
if his team blew it from this position.

Macclesfield a pivotal result? How?

Why oh why do so many keep looking for negatives?

If we thought our players were walking onto the pitch with their shoulders slumped
thinking "we'll never win this game today" we'd play f**k with them. Imagine if our
players ere all slagging each other off "oh he's not good enough" etc etc

Nothing wrong with the team spirit and togetherness of our squad

Just as well they arent a mirror image of the fans :(

How am I looking for negatives?

Are we top? Yes.
Did I spell dilemma wrong? yes.
Will Malky be happy at the result on Saturday? No.
Will the fact that he rested the whole first team to concentrate on the league put more pressure on the squad to Succeed? Yes.
