I thought it was an excellent idea for helping the youth development scheme below Academy level , but can`t recall hearing anything about it for ages now.
Partly my fault, losing a daughter to cancer did distract me somewhat, however a group of us did help at the open day the development centre held at the stadium, and thank God they turned up, because the numbers that attended were huge and caught everyone out. I know Carl recently handed over £500 that was raised mostly from raffles etc held in the Nin and also on the forum bus. It is something we can all help promote as it does help kids at real grass roots to get into the system and get some good coaching. Also, we need to be aware we have a Premiership club down the road, and if we don, t keep a presence in these areas, I, m sure they, 'll be glad to. Be a great help and positive move if possibly the Trust helped out, ensuring and promoting the future may produce some future hero's and we can start collecting for another statue with a lot of planning.
