Yes, he's signed some fantastic players, but I can't stand it when people indicate that his transfer dealings have been flawless.

i'm not saying he's flawless, but Mutch was great up until his injury and we haven't really seen Velikonja in the 1st team with proper support so can't really judge!... at least he hasn't signed players like comminges

It was well documented at the beginning of the season that Bolton had to be amongst the promotion contenders ( after 15 games) if this was not achieved then they had to begin drastically reducing their premiership wage bill .
It would make sense to buy a striker for 300k on a nominal salary and sell a striker on a premier salary for 2 million don't be surprised to see a few Bolton players leaving within the next month or so.

Smith is our only winger that naturally plays on the right. The rest of them prefer to play on the left.
