Not exactly reliable

He was quick enough to leave our club..... and in my opinion hes not a Malky type of player.....to much ego attached with Jerome. Wasnt happy when he publicly tried to get Ledley to join him at Birmingham.

How he would have the nerve to want to come back here is after his comments is really unbelievable IMO!!!

Dont care how good of a player he is, but to criticise our club and disrespect our fans......he can just do one.

This signing will not happen.........if it does, I will be suprised on the reasons for joining us.

Re: Cameron Jerome

Why do supporters expect players to be as fanatical about a club as them?

Its just a job and a pay cheque to them barring a few exceptions.

At the time he did go to a bigger club. He was also very young.

He did go to a bigger club at the time. Birmingham had greater spending power at the time and he was justified in his comments as they got promoted and he got to play in the premier league.

Re: Cameron Jerome

Jerome gave his best for us and moved on because we needed the money at the time. If he comes back to us, I personally think he will be an awesome signing. I don't recall him criticising our club and fans, can anyone provide a link to this?

His comments were...

"I'm delighted to be joining a big club like this. Hopefully I can just pick up from where I left off last season (with Cardiff) and continue to do the same here at Birmingham."

"I owe Cardiff everything because they gave me my first chance and my senior debut in the Football League. I will never forget that and I'd like to think part of the transfer money will be spent on other players."

What he said either came out wrong or was blown up by the media.

Hardly he's still playing in the premier league, something he wouldn't have done yet if he had stayed with us

He should have spent the entire press conference doing the ayatollah while saying that he wished he could have stayed at Cardiff but Dave Jones used to scare him and that we're the biggest team in the country.

Absolutely nothing wrong with those comments, it got blown out of proportion and he was the pantomime villain when he came back to Ninian with Birmingham that year.

That was good fun to be fair. He had a shocker iirc.

Re: Cameron Jerome

Jerome was forced out because the club needed the money. He actually wanted to stay and I know that is a fact.

I don't see anything wrong with his comments. He simply stated his beliefs to be joining a big club, with a better opportunity of Premier League football at the time. Totally understandable.

Exactly, as I thought, Jerome said nothing disrespectful to us whatsoever. Some of you are an odd bunch, you're so unhappy about not having anything to rant about so you decide to make something up about Jerome having an ego and being disrespectful to us.

I will be delighted if Jerome joins us, he will terrorise defences at this level. :ayatollah:

wasn't that the year they popped into Canton for a quick pint ;)

Re: Cameron Jerome

Some Cardiff fans are clueless.... Jerome is exactly the type of player we need, big, strong, quick and will score goals at this level with Bellamy noone and whitts providing, it will be a great signing IMO.
Instead of believing unrealistic rumours like bent, giggs beckham etc... Get realistic about things!
If true jerome would defo fire us to the premier lge. :ayatollah:

So helping to break FA rules in trying to get Ledley to sign for Birmingham isn't disrespectful is it..?
