Malky untouchable?

Sun Jan 06, 2013 6:04 pm

Are fans allowed criticising Malky?
Under Dave Jones no fan was allowed to praise anything he did for fear of ridicule.
Now we are reaching a point that fans dare not criticise Malky even though he made some big errors yesterday with his team.
Malky may lead us to the promised land but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t call it as we see it, and yesterday we all saw Cardiff City fail.

He should of included at least cowie and gestede in the squad, and he had both ralls and oshilaja playing out of position.

Are you serious? Malky is probably the best manager we have had in years imo. He made some big errors? He put out a team he thought was strong enough to get the job done and a lot of fans thought that team was also strong enough to get the job done. It's all about squad rotation, we have the squad to do it so we did it! The first team had a well deserved rest and that was the point of playing a weakened team.

The difference with Malky and Jones is that Malky is willing to give youth a chance and will change something in the team if it's not working. Jones would slate the youth and be extremely stubborn. Because of this we lost what was probably one of the greatest talents we have had in recent years (Adam Matthews).

Malky is one of the best young managers in the country and has a Premier League future waiting for him imo.

So are we not allowed to criticise the players? They took the field not Malky. They are the ones playing for their future. Regardless of what club is involved the result is down to the players. Whatever we all say now, this will serve them in good stead in the future. Be it at Cardiff City or elsewhere.
Let's not forget they were only 10 minutes or so away from winning. Even though the performance was not too good we would have all said it was good experience for them. Why can't this be the case in defeat?

Just my opinion. Can't see how any manager is to blame. Maybe the players are just not good enough.
