FA Cup - Financial Loss

There is no doubt that our PRIORITY is to get promotion however the inability to see off Macclesfield yesterday could have an impact on income for the club particularly if a home draw against one of the 'big clubs' was handed out. A sell out at CCS would have generated a good income.

No disrespect to Macclesfield and good on them to progress but it wouldn't have been so bad to go out against a top team. Financial loss and the break in fixtures I don't think will help. 2 games in 4 weeks max with some players not getting a game. The winning rhythm is lost. Let's hope that our Championship results don't take a turn for the worse.

We've got four plus players with knocks, it will give them a rest and time for us to have an almost full team to select from for the next game

what if we had played a top 4 team and lost, same financial implications too

would of been a good income ,but if we go up we will have 60m plus , I know which I would rather , I love the FA cup but for 1 season I would rather sacrifice both cup runs for promotion
