how come annis and carl only have to say something predictable like...'im angy we lost' or 'i'm glad we lost' and it instantly gets made a sticky?

there are some decent threads on here but they are mostly not from our semi literate leaders

Your point is invalid. I have had 2 threads sticky'd in the last 2 days. One being my video and the other being 'Thank God For That' in reference to the FA Cup defeat. I think the reason many of their threads get sticky'd is because they often have an opposite point of view which is quite extreme or they often keep quite neutral. Plus most others put tonnes of snide remarks and abuse in their threads which Carl and Annis try to not do.

We sticky posts that we feel is worth doing and NOT because it's Carl or Annis.
