Swansea-v-Arsenal (Ramsey)

Sun Jan 06, 2013 1:00 pm

If Swansea were to beat Arsenal this afternoon the Gunners would be out of both Cup Competitions and only have the league to play for.

In such circumstances do you believe there would be a better chance of getting Aaron Ramsey back on loan?

This might sound a bit odd to some, but at the moment the way gunnarsson is playing, And the loss of confidence/form Ramsey is suffering at mo, I wouldn't put Ramsey in his place. Says a lot for the strength of our team! :ayatollah:

Agreed. Once our players have this upcoming break it will do them the world of good. Get three players in, a midfielder, a striker and a utility defender and we'll be fine. I'd rather stick Nugent in than purchase another defender as it will help him get better and he has already had the experience of playing in our back four.

Hang on, so we saying Gunnarsson is better than Ramsey - who would still command a 10m+ transfer fee even with his current form?????/?

no chance of getting him. I think Speeds death has really affected him and is probably a major cause for his poor form

I just hate the fact that Wenger keeps playing him on the left wing, why doesn't he play him in his central midfield role?

he's just signed a new long term contract, he's very much part of their first team squad, dream on :ayatollah:

He would only command £10m as he's British. Take that away, and you'd be lucky to get £6m with his current form.

Not watching the match, but he's apparently having a 'mare against the Swans...

Based on current form, I would much rather see Gunnarsson play in the middle with Whittingham than Rambo.

Quite hard when you have Santi, Wilshire and Arteta all available at the moment. If Diaby was fit, Ramsey would have no hope to get a game in the middle.

He's a very good player, and I would love to see him return to form at City one day, but in no way is he Arsenal standard. A move to Fulham would do him good.

I'd rather see him go out on loan like you say and play his CM role than play games on the LM
