I used to have painted turtles (terrapins) if she needs any particular advice on anything PM me mate

get a spot light in the tank and give them somewhere to rest out of the water with spot light pointing at that area

http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk/turtles-for-sale.html No ninja turtles though On a serious note though, this is a good shop, i use them all the time, just make sure someone's in when they deliver, I've had a few praying mantis from them, and looking to get an scorpion next week, never had any problems with them and there always in good health.

No mate. Bought my first ones off a mate who was moving house. I have just
moved back to the UK and want to start all over again. Great little pets they
are.

Nasty little fuckers with a painful nip (terrapins that is) why do you think there so many in Roath park lake ? remember they are not a natural species of these isles , once the mutant ninja turtle fad ended and all the little terrapins the kids wanted as pets grew up and showed what little vicious fuckers they really were parents crept out at night and dumped them wherever their was a lake,pond,drain and even down the pan .

Go to the reptile shop in Canton, not Ely.

The latter is more interested in money, while Canton (ReptileCymru) will help you to the ends of the earth to guarantee the animals health.
