FAO THE FANS THAT TRAVELLED TODAY

Sat Jan 05, 2013 8:21 pm

How do you feel about the team MM put out?
Should the strongest side always be fielded or are you happy to pay out your hard earned cash to travel and watch the reserves?

Would be interesting to hear the travelling fans opinion on today.

I went. Knew the score. Wanted to see what some of our fringe players were like.

Now I know.

Pants.

Declan John was good though.

no problem whatsoever with what Malky did personally. Man Utd are the fuckers who
devalued the FA Cup. It dont mean that much any more. Sad but true

I travelled and didn't care what Malky done. A lot of fans just went and had a good time I assume, fans didn't have to travel, Malky made it clearly aware that he would play a VERY youthful team. All the fans moaning about how many changes we made today. NONE moaned last season when we lost to West Brom when we made changes?

Having gone there today (like all games), I am not unhappy that we're out of the cup today (even if slightly embarrased until tomorrow), as everyone knows what this season is TOTALLY ABOUT - and it's NOT THE FA CUP.

Who remembers the Northampton defeat earlier in the season, and even though I went there, it's very hard to remember it.

I know there were excuses for playing a very young side in the league cup, but today wasn't really any more important this season.

SAY NO MORE other than PROMOTION IS ALL IT'S ABOUT

I travelled today and am a little bit split on the subject to be honest

On one hand promotion is of course the priority and realistically we aint gonna win the cup so had to go out sooner or later.A lot of our closest rivals in the division have unwanted replays which are bound to take their tole on their squads

however the FA cup 3rd round is part of football tradition and it would have been nice to see the likes of mason, rudy and cowie get 90 minutes which would have definetly benefited them, its not as if weve got a game on tuesday for example

fair points there pal
But a lot of fans reasonably expect any team wearing the shirt of cardiff city to be up to the task of beating a mid table blue square side
It was disappointing that the side malky put out today wasnt up to it
