One of the pivotal moments of the season today

Sat Jan 05, 2013 7:38 pm

The cups have derailed our promotion challenge for a few seasons and the result today is a very good one for Cardiff City Football Club. When we are on the pitch in April celebrating the capital city of Wales's football team being promoted and giving the Premier League a REAL welsh presence today's irrelevance will be forgotten.

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE ………………. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Let's hope so. Would be a nightmare if getting knocked out of the cup by a non league side was what derailed our season

Too much common sense in this post for some people to take in. Please in future refrain from posting so much sense in one thread and spread the common sense over multiple threads over a period of a few days. This helps morons absorb the information more easily. For more advice report to the forum terms of service. Thank you!

how could it derail us ?? Every player who played today except mcnaughton, isn't even in our starting line up in the league or on the bench for that matter! So I don't think it's going to effect our first team at al!!

As an example of how you can make statistics prove anything you want. Following our 3-1 over Reading last January we then put out a reserve side in the FA cup next match and were knocked out. Following the reserve side getting knocked out we went on a 15 game run where we won 3, drew 7 and lost 5 in the league. A run like that can't happen this season, I want to tick off another three points next weekend :ayatollah:
