If the Fa really wanted teams to care about the Fa cup as they once did they should either up the prize money or give a champions league spot for winning.

Its the older generation that care about the FA Cup as it used to be the thing to win. Nowadays its nothing more than a distraction.

Not sure about a champions league spot...but europa league could be a good call ( if teams want more games ).

Exactly. Its no bigger than the League Cup anymore to me. Its been devalued for years and needs a much bigger prize. You look at the prizes for the Copa Del Rey etc and they are much bigger percentage of the actual pot.

They should look at upping the prixe money definitely. Maybe increase each round prize money by 15% or something like that. Nothing too drastic, but with clubs struggling finacially it would make it more appealing. The same could be said about the League cup. I love the midweek games in the cup

I love the Fa Cup but its not worth having more games than we need this season
