Having seen most of the development games this season I still think Harris and Velikonja can play a part.
Gestede is proof that games make you better, but its games against challenging teams which make you step up, IMO.
I think Mutch should have played today but I also think the young squad had the wrong attitude. Yes YOUNG, thats the key word. They need time and now they can go out on loan and get game time.
I'd like to keep Nugent in the match day squad and send Harris, John, Wharton and Velikonja out on loan. Possibly give Jarvis a chance to influenece out on loan as well or leave City in the summer.
In the development games many of these players have been outstanding so maybe the wrong attitude and an off day is to blame. I certainly seen the team sheet and had no issues expecting a win.
Am I bothered? No.
