A striker can appear quite hopeless without the right players around him. Some strikers never do anything all game and score goals. Even the best strikers in the world have crap games. Its very unfair to judge him on this one game. I didn't see him play against Newcastle preseason but he got rave reviews.

Malky knows what he is doing. He obviously isn't ready yet. MM says he can see his potential so that's good enough for me. Maybe he sees him more suitable for the premiership than the championship?

It was a group of players that didn't seem to know each other. Malky has said he's not ready for the demands of the championship, and he's right. He needs game time, needs to go on loan imo

Think you'll find that Conway was playing in a number of those games, as well as other first team fringe players. The service was a great deal better.

why bring gestede into this ? where have i mentioned gestede in my post ? but if you want to go down that route id say gestede (allthough been here longer) has done way more than etien, but didnt we get rudy for free so therefore haven't lost or gained ? etien has been a waste of money. in my opinion it was one season syndrome, he scored 20 odd goals in a shit league so the scouting team must of got the idea that he was the next big thing and got a big shock when he got here, simply not good enough and we should cut our losses on him
