They were boys who played like boys NO TACTICS no ORGANISATION Im one who doesnt really care about the cup this year as only really focused on the league but cup runs sometimes help with players confidence and gives some a gameThe whole GAME was TACTFULLY a disgrace

You make no sense....tactfully????
Do you mean tactically? If so id be inclined to say the team didnt follow MM instructions rather than them not having any.

Can we just not accept that an inexperienced lineup got outplayed by a team who play competitive football every week?
Yeah, it was crap but hey ho.

I don't think we tried to take the piss out of anyone. The kids were given a chance and the guys who have got us top of the league given the day off after a hectic schedule.

my thoughts exactly, our fringe players played a 'team', that always a risk, and a risk that MM was more than willing to take, lets face it, he has bigger fish to fry, I bet he didnt fancy a replay anyway despite the fact the could have used the same team he used today

Lets be honest that team should have been capable of beating MTFC, we had a striker worth £1m a fee that town could dream of, several 1st and fringe players but we came up short.

this!
what did you all expect with players who haven't really had much of a look in so far this season?
We could have played Gestede, Mason, Smith, Kim Bo, Mutch and possibly other 1st team fringe players, but we know our priority, and what we need to concentrate on without distraction! Our first 11 and subs needed a rest.
Ipswich - we are waiting!

We are out of the cup thats it , Good ... Remember we were doing well in the league and drew Spurs did well at home and then got thumped 4-0 at White heart lane and then our first team got hurt lost confidence and we went down from there also
2 years later another great start and then we drew arsenal drew at home then again got thumped at the emerates.
Again first team got hurt confidence went and we failed agaim however we have lost today in a cup and none of our first team played so what the hell we have to get promotion end of we are known as the club that chokes season after season so now we need to prove that wrong and to be honest I am glad we are out of the cups and go for the league and get promotions as champions
Sat Jan 05, 2013 5:20 pm
i wish people would stop with this "if we lose to a big team it means we will fall down the league" nonsense
Sat Jan 05, 2013 5:36 pm
How many times must it be demonstrated to you(in Malky we trust tools)..he will always try to sit on a one goal lead instead of looking for the second killer goal,he has managed to get away with it on most occasions but not today...and he will certainly not get away with it in the Premiership
Sat Jan 05, 2013 5:45 pm
My dear Angelis, you have a clear obsession with Malky. I bet you've run out of pins to stick in your Malky voodoo doll. If we get promoted what are you going to do? I fear if we lose again to Ipswich you may just wank yourself into oblivion at least that would give us non-dementia sufferers a moments peace.
Now, take the pencils out your ears and the pants off your head as your meals on wheels should be arriving shortly.

Just a whole bunch of youngsters trying to make a name for themselves rather than playing football.
