Really dont see sordell improving our team to be honest , next year he would be at least 4th choice in the prem .This year i would have mason, bellamy and smith ahead of him anyway ,plus the returning maynard at some point will drop him down the pecking order . Most overated player in the league imo . Theres a reason he in the reserves at bolton and its not because hes a great player scoring goals for fun .We were not good enough for him in the summer so f**k him now hes just coming for the glory if he signs now !
Cameron jerome is a proven championship and premiership striker and would be around the same price as sordell no brainer imo

Sordell was arguably the hottest young striker in our league 12 months ago. He has averaged one goal in two in the championship. Personally I think he's en exciting signing but it's all about opinions.

Honestly I think he's an exciting prospect, that will only get better. Decent signing I say.

You don't lose your quality only your confidence, which is something Malky can sort out no problem.

Not really, another bid came in that Watford accepted. He was ready and happy to come to us.

I really don't rate Sordell and would prefer Malky looking for another stricker, or maybe just a defender. But if he does come i would love for him to prove me wrong.

Watford excepted our bid aswell , he had a choice between a team just down from the premiership and a team rebuilding for a promotion push . He chose the bigger wages and supposedly bigger club he thought would have more of a chance of going up . Now he realises he made a mistake and would be willing to come to us now !
If we were too small for him in the summer we are too small for him now we are top and bolton are struggling .

Sordell will prove people wrong and be a good signing I think. But, as back up!!! Never want to see jerome back here. I think we are in need of defensive cover and maybe centre mid, as whitts injury and mutch not up to it yet.

I was going to point that out! Yeah he did, don't think they were bottom either so still had a good chance of staying in the prem which is a good reason to choose them over us I reckon.

Sorry it was january not the summer and they were coming down we were doing well at the time is what i meant just didnt write it down very well .

Sorry mate but don't agree with that, Bolton were at the time in the premier league and we were looking ready to falter about the time he was going to coem to us. He never said we were a small club, just chose a premier team instead.

Honestly I don't think he's worth 3 mil but as Malky says, January window means you always have to pay a premium. After what he's seen of Sordell at Watford he obviously thinks he's worth it, and I support him on that

Bolton outbid us last year so they refused him talks with us when he wad onbhis way donwn hee

Watford accepted a bid off Bolton and us, Bolton then increased their offer and allowed Sordell to speak to Bolton, and as we did not match Boltons bid we did not get permission to speak to the lad, he had no choice in the matter
