THE NUMBER OF TICKETS WE HAVE SOLD FOR MACCLESFIELD IS . . .

Fri Jan 04, 2013 9:28 pm

The amount of tickets we have sold for Macclesfield is approximately 600.

Just had a chat with Vince or rather text convo, and considering how many booked on with him, myself and other travel group providers last Saturday evening and Sunday, the feeling was that we would easily take well over 1,000.

I was surprised to hear it is just over 600 though.

People spending money in the sales as well so no surprise. Any money they do have they'll save for the league games.

We would take 10,000 A FACT.

I am more looking forward to this than going to the new Ikea plastic stadiums every week.

We're playing a non-league team with our reserve players and it's quite a long coach journey away. 600 is great.

Same here annis and why im going not working like every sat night, ditching a £120 shift to watch us, theres nothing like the old league grounds, its a diffrent feel/day altogether than the championship grounds. What i dont get is why is there only 600odd going when we took 890 in 1998 to this ground yet we got 24k watching these days not 4k ish like back then  :ayatollah:

Whats the point in this?

Iv seen Cardiff play at Macclesfield twice, Iv never seen Cardiff play at Old Trafford ever.

I'm going to Blackpool on the 19th, can I justify Macclesfield tomorrow? No I cant.

Could I justify going to Old Trafford tomorrow if we happened to draw Utd, hell yeah, I would go
into my savings because it would be unique, a first time, just like we took 6000 to Chelsea but
would have only taken 600 to chesterfield if we had drawn them.

Are you trying to say Im some kind of lesser fan?

We are taking 600, we only knew who we were playing 6 days before and the ticket office was shut for half of that.

Good effort if you ask me.

I think that is a good turnout too Millar considering it is a relatively youth side turning up.As you say a couple of weeks time loads of city fans doing a blackpool weekender inc myself.Makes sense to save the pounds.I couldn't make today as i'm taking the Mrs to a concert tonight for her birthday.I also agree with what you say about Utd it would be unique. :ayatollah:
