agreed,but i think that this season is all about the league,and maybe a couple of games off could be a bonus for the team, give them a rest,

It is all about promotion but with Malky set to field no regular first teamers if these boys progress it will do them the world of good, so why not go on a cup run too.

Losing means players lose morale. Easy to say we'll bounce back but that's not always the case. There is no doubt losing vs Liverpool on penalties left the player distraught and had a negative impact on them for the rest of the season. Not only were they physically tired they were emotionally also.
