A huge fan of Maccaa. Hugely talented ball player and a great understanding of the game. However - how many Champonship games do you think he will be involved in to the end of the season? Sensible answers please as he deserves these. Any stupid answers does him great discredit and will only highlight a lack of FOOTBALL intelligence.

Impossible to tell, depends on injuries.
I would think a hand full of sub appearances.

If he puts in a good performance saturday (Which i'm sure he will), he could easily find himself regularly on the bench. Plus Malky liked him last season playing with Whitts in a 5 man midfield so I reckon he could get around 10 appearances in the league
I'd like to see him stay on with us in a coaching role

Also, been a fan of Macca, but if we persist with playing 2 up front, his game time will be virtually non existent I think. As said above if we change system during game, he may come on to play the holding role if we pull a striker or more attacking player off, but can't really see him making squad, unfortunately.

Really like macca but for me I can't see him getting any game time in the league, unless we have a good few injurys

Agree CantonJack. When we play our new striker up top we can play Bellamy wide or in a floating position. When he is not available we can still play 5 in midfield. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but Maccaa can 'sit' and Witts can play further up field supporting the striker. Macca can add calmness at the crucial end part of the season when we need to keep our heads.
An old head will be priceless at ths point.

Great servant to the club but can't see him getting much game time at all...especially at this stage of the season. If we secure promotion by mid april i'd love to see him on the bench for the remaining few games. Hopefully he will play the full 90 tomorrow.

Would be good to have on the bench as he's also good from dead ball situation. If we go up against a team 2-0 or 3-0 then we could stick him on for the last 10-15 to give Whitts a bit of a rest.

lets face it, palace in the cup at home last year, with macca infront of the back 4, we cleaned up and he was able to move the ball around freely. we played dominant football and our possession was sky high. i like macca in the role infront of the back 4
