Mystery Striker from last month

A month or so ago Carl was reporting about a mystery striker thast would be the biggest signing yet, and had everyone guessing. Carl is this still on the cards or no longer in play?

I thought it was marquee signing.

I dont see why ryan giggs was a non-starter .... what better way to end a golden career by helping the town where you were born to the premier league ... a fantastic ending to a fantastic career! .... plus the bums on seats and the lift it would have given the whole club would have been massive!

Unlike Bellamy, Giggs has no affiliation with the club. He was brought up in Manchester and was actually a Citeh lad until he joined Utd.

Must be some player to be a bigger signing than bellamy,hope it happens.
