Charlie Austin would be my ideal signing. He rips the Championship apart, and would no doubt work his socks off in the Premier League.

Charlie Austin was overshadowed by Jay Rodriguez for Burnley the past few seasons. Southampton chose to sign Rodriguez ahead of Austin and Rodriguez is struggling to get games for Southampton. So despite Austin finding the net a lot this season, will he still sustain this form for the second half of the season and is he really good enough for us and worth spending millions on? Just saying!

Eh?
Austin only had one full season with Rodriguez at Burnley, last season, and scored mpre league goals than him
Just cos Nigel Adkins signed him, prob as a partner to Lambert who is similair to Austin, or as a winger as he can also play out there, does not mean Charlie Austin isnt good enough for us or the PL ffs
Thats straight out of the Pembroke Alien school of logic

Now when I covered the Olympics I was not overly impressed with Sordell and sure enough today he didn't make the first 11. But with 20 minutes to go he came on and what a blistering turn of pace he has. He runs at defenders he's fast and he knows where the goal is and was unlucky not to score.
I've changed my mind about him!
