Would be a great signing for us ..

Been saying this for a while and as recently as yesterday. Would be ideal.

Would be a fantastic signing.

Have been a fan of Dorrans for the last few years. Both him and Whittingham in the centre of midfield screams brilliance.

I love Dorrans, he's a very good player. But 1) How much would West Brom want and 2) Would he get a regular place in the team?

He would be a great player to replace Whitts if he got injured but I don't think he would be willing to go from being a Premier league player on the bench, to a Championship player on the bench. He wouldn't get in our starting 11 simply because if we put him in the centre with Whitts the midfield would be too lightweight and we would get overrun like we did a few seasons back.

I think he will go to someone like Reading or Aston Villa. I reckon he would do a brilliant job for one of them!

2) Without a shadow of a doubt - Him and Whittingham would work great together.
3) He is also a great tackler.

Can't see him wanting a move to Reading, a side many expect to experience relegation this season. As for Villa, they're unwilling to play Bent as they would soon have to pay £4m in add-ons to Sunderland, so I can't see them moving for Dorrans.

The lad would be fantastic to have in midfield, and would ease the pressure of Whittingham week in, week out.

I think we actually pay obscene wages for a championship club as it is, Joe Cole has just signed for West Ham for 30k a week, we are paying some of our players that.

I'd love to have him, but I can see a prem club snapping him up... then again if he at least gives Malky a chance to chat with him then maybe he'd see where this club is headed

He was brilliant a couple of seasons ago but doesn't seem to feature much for WBA since their last promotion - has he passed his best maybe and that why they are willing to let him go?

He is 25..

He's a great player, Doorans is a very composed player who always seems to have time on the ball. Just what we need! We have some very good central midfield players but he's different to what we got. Worth a bid if we got the funds

agreed with polo on this yesterday! would be a very good player to have.. 2-3 mil with add ons making an overall package worth 4 mil would be worth it for this player..

Is there much difference in fees and wages now or as a new prem club buying in 6 months?

If we are going to the big league we have to
A) have players to get us there
B) have players to keep us there

We need players like him - we are strong but predictable

A good wage, signing on fee, % increase upon promotion and a promotion bonus no doubt would be involved.

lets be honest thought we would be looking at spending millions because theres going to be top flight interest. from both PL, and SPL.
