Just enjoy the ride ffs.

You dont get a 7 point lead in the Championship by luck.

Yes weve won some scrappy games but thats the sign of champions. We are not Barcelona, we cant win every game, and win it in style.

Yes I believe it does. Over a season without a doubt. And your only there because you deserve to be, when you miss out on promotion, there is no such thing as bad luck as it evens out over a season. When you get promotion, you have also deserved to get promotion. I have always said, where you are is where you belong, the league table on wins/draws/defeats/goals does not lie. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

what defines the best team?We may not play the most atractive football at times but i feel the best side is the most consistent one which is definetly us so after 23 games when your half way through then the table tells the truth

I don't think we've played that well at all tbh.
Difficult to beat maybe, but this winning ugly stuff is not easy on the eye or the nerves!
I reckon the other teams have just simply been more shit than us!!!
God help the rest of them if we start playing well. If we could play like we did at Blackburn every week, then we'll romp this league.

Table can lie after 5 games, maybe 10 games, maybe 15 games at a push.

Over 25 no, never. Doesn't mean we will go up though just means we are the best team in the league at the half way point.

Very few teams play brilliantly on a regular basis, I think we have become so used to falling at the final hurdle, we are looking for perfection, winning and playing well all the time.
We don't appreciate enough how Malky has made a squad so tight & workmanlike that linked with our fair bit of footballing ability, we have found the magic formula of winning often without winning comfortably.
How many of our chasing rivals would swap us?
Yes, at this stage of the season it definitely tells the truth, most consistent by far! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

We are not playing well but we are winning. That is the sign of a good team.

The only statistic that really matters is where you finish after 46 games. You can lead the table all season but still end up 3rd and lose in play offs.

Lets wait until May and see where we are.
