Trevor Ford (letter in the Echo today)

Apologies if this is general knowledge, but a letter published in the Echo today says that Trevor Ford played for England while a Cardiff player, so Bothroyd wasn't the first. And with 2 caps, he had double the number of Bothroyd, who, let's face it, is unlikely to pull on an England shirt again. Apparently these games were "unofficial" and so don't appear in record books. I wonder if another Cardiff player will play for England? Whitts' form has dropped off lately; could Turner fulfill his dream?

So if he hadn't been suspended, could have been part of the Wales team to give us even more chance of beating Brazil. According to the letter yesterday, he scored a total of 5 goals over the 2 games for England, which were both against Ireland, and both 6-5!
