Simon Flappin

I know he hasnt played in a while but Lappin in my eyes is worse than Our old LB Naylor.Against Barnsley he got Sent Off and yesterday vs Brum well....he was just shocking.

He gave the ball away almost every time,he got skined alot by Redmond or Ravel which ever one and Also i just felt really nervy when someone was running at him.

Hope he gets back to Norwich faster than Concorde!!

I thought Naylor was awful under Dave Jones, and fortunately disappeared shortly after Malky had arrived.

However, he was called up for one or two matches (Birmingham at home, I think) and he was bloody fantastic.

Then Malky released him.

I thought lappin done well yesterday! The lad has played one first team game in months and is speaks volumes for the defence thatarshall didnt have a save to make.
Lappin worked hard and the longer the game went on the more settled he looked

What Game were you watching please? Lappin played really well yesterday he was composed on the ball mostly and grew into the game, so negative some people!

On CC Player it sounded like he constantly gave the ball away, as he did on the highlights

He couldn't have been that bad surely if we won the game and kept a clean sheet?

Sounds like he just slotted in and did the job needed but nothing spectacular. Don't think we'll miss him but did the job Malky needed him too whilst here. Should look to sign more defensive cover in Jan now.

was i taking something yesterday or did i just not watch the game tidy, cos i thought Lappin was quite good yestaerday and i was up in Brum! yes he didn't shine, but i thought he was solid at the back, defended well! :?

Couldn't make the game so I can't comment, but if Malky said he played well that's good enough for me. Always happy with Malky's team selection :ayatollah:

Thought he had a good game myself, ok I was right at the back, but my eyes are not that bad

Lappin didn't do a lot wrong yesterday. He started slowly due to lack of match fitness but was up against a terrific young player and he kept Redmond quiet for majority of game

He is a Left Back. They did not get ONE cross in during the second half. job done.
He was solid. Second game in months and months. I think hed have been a good
acquisition. So i suspect we are definitely getting a full-back in the next few days

Respect to MM for bringing a bit cover in for the short period of time but I think we can get someone in better, cheaper and not on loan.
