Nathan Blake Thinks F.A Cup run for Cardiff will be good..

What are your thoughts on the FA Cup?Would you like to see us progress as far as we can or lose to Macclesfield and just concentrate on promotion?

My opinion is to go as far as we can because we are 7 points clear and it will give all the players who dont start a chance to prove themselves and get a tie vs a big team.

give the fringe players a run out to keep them sharp, ralls, kiss, nugent, lewis, velikonja etc need game time because they are going to be called upon if we are challenging for the title

Losing to Macclesfield would be shite, our fringe players and youngsters should win comfortably.

As for Blake's comment, I guess he's coming from the opinion that success breeds success. Can winning games really cause harm?

Could another cup run promote our club more which would be good for attracting players as well as sponsorship.

I don't think a cup run would be a bad thing but, due to our league push, I'm not bothered too much.

Realistically, a good cup run to the quarters is only a few extra games.......the final is only 2 games on top of that. Let's keep playing to win and see where we end up.

Blake gets on my nerves in those bootroom discussions. Very opinionated and loud. Puts Tucker down if he has a different opinion by saying "you just don't understand the game". We might not have all played the game but it doesn't mean our opinions are invalid. He rubbished Hudson's leadership recently. Shows how much he knows!

Just give the fringe players and youth players a run out for each round.. if they make it then play them again.

If we progress after this round and get a big team it would be huge for some of the youth players and a experience.
