There's been harder years in the championships actually. There isn't that much competition this year as there has been in previous seasons. The big clubs aren't performing.

Given the bottom club to stay in the prem next season gets a 57% hike on previous years, it seems like its shit or bust now lol

Not promotion or bust but how long realistically would Vincent Tan keep putting £20m into the club every year to keep us at the level we have been in the past two years? The new TV deal starts next season and the financial fair play rules kick in soon. The Malaysians gambled big time this season but it looks like it might pay off at this point in the season. I certainly hope it does. It should mean that Tan doesn't have to put an money into the club next year unless he really wants to and even if we came back down then the parachute payments would mean he wouldn't have to dig us out of such a big hole each season.
