11 wins from the next 20 games gets us 89 points, enough for automatic.

I reckon 10 could be enough, especially as they come with a few draws.
11 wins and 3 draws (92pts) will DEFINITELY get us up. 10 wins and 3 or 4 draws (89/90pts) may get the job done.

looking at our remaining fixtures, i reckon on our day we will get another 12/13 wins, 4/5 draws and a few defeats

what did newcastle finish on the yr they went up, someone posted on here we are a point or two ahead of where they were at the same stage...

after 26 games newcastle had 55 points - one less than us!!!

that is very reassuring ! But its still a 55% win ration ( not including Draws ) if we keep this 9 point lead to the first game in feb we could well get promoted in Mid April, we got Nottm Forest Sat 13 Apr and Charlton Tue 16 Apr, Home celebration for the moment we get promoted would be class.

Please don't tempt fate lads. Let's wait another 10 games and see where we are then. The picture can change very quicky. And before you all condemn me as a pessimist....I've been supporting the City far too long

Most if not all of us older guys are thinking this way.
I've tried to work out all combinations of what we need going on criteria of other clubs that have gone up automatically. I believe we can afford to lose 6 games meaning we need 8 wins and 6 draws to go up auto like. I'm going with that.
