How Would You Feel If We Get Knocked Out Of The FA Cup?

Embarrassed there a non league team.

Good time to give our fringe players some much needed game time, and our first team players who have been slogging it out over the xmas period, some much needed rest and recovery time, other than that, I couldn't care less about the f.a cup this season

Perhaps one or two games would be a benefit but it wont do us any good if we get to the later stages.

Id be disapointed as i think the fa cup should be used for our reserves and youngsters. We should be to strong for Macclesfield. Although i still wouldnt want any 1st team regulars playing at all in any stage of the competition

Do you remember the feeling of beating palace in the semi finals of the carling cup last year? That can't be a bad thing. We get to play against prem teams and challenge them. I dont believe it will effect us getting promoted!

I always feel down if we lose whatever game it is.

Most years I'd say relieved as our squad hasn;t been big enough but now you look at the number of players we have I'd love to go on a run so that everyone gets a chance.

I love the FA cup, it's my favourite competition of all time. Would love a cup run, how ever, promotion has to be the most imperative objective.

We have been waiting for promotion for how long? We've been there and done it. It's time we concentrate on the league and get us to the promised land. Although we have a larger squad we should give youngsters a chance to prove themselves. I'd be more disappointed if we played first team players rather than loose the game!

really not bothered by the cups this yr. stick out a team of fringe and squad players and see how they do.

if we got to the semi finals off the fa cup the total prize money winnings would only be :

67k rd 3
90k rd 4
180k rd 5
360k q/f

you then get 900k if u get to the final and 900k if u lose the final or 1.8mil of you win it...

priority this yr has to be league.. id let players like mcphail, veliknoja and kiss if not loaned out play the cup game.. if we progress then i would do the same again in the next rd.

I think we need to win this game or we will have two weeks off, which is just pointless. Get to the 4th round and then lose perhaps, wouldnt be the end of the world.

With the Championship already sewn up what a great chance to do a double.............LOL.

Joe Lewis, Mcphail, Mutch, Kiss, Ralls, Kadeem Harris and Velikonja HAVE to play in my opinion.

No reason why we can't be looking at 4th or 5th round. It won't be too straining on the team and it would be a good chance to give the fringes a run out. We still have some really effective players not getting a game, ie Cowie, Kev, McPhail, Ralls, Lewis, Kiss, Etien, and even Mason who isn't getting a regular run.

Surely the manager and team goes into every game and wants to win. I'd be pretty pissed off if I found out Malky threw the game to focus on the League

Its a great draw for us as it gives us the chance to play a lot of youngsters without too much pressure. I would be disappointed if we lost, but don't see that happening as our "second string" should be way too strong for them.

I would be gutted,can't see why you wouldn't want us to win this there a shite club and will be good for youngsters to get a good start and build confidence.

All first teamers have to be rested regardless of what stage we get to. Valuable competitive football for Etien, Kiss, Harris etc.

Embarrassed 'at this stage' with our current squad TBH

Hoping for a 'big' home game in Round 4 (a 'top' team like Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City)

If not, then maybe settle for Man Utd and their sychophant supporters

What a pathetic and embarrassing position to take. Some fans, including you need to realise that the Premiership is not the be all end all of being a fan. I would take winning the FA cup other us staying up in this division.

Absolutely sickening some of the comments in this thread, you are going to be suicidal when we are playing the likes of Norwich and Stoke every year in the premiership mid table obscurity.

I wouldn't be gutted but it's a great chance for the youngsters and the fringe players to shine

would be a real eye opener for us to play a big club in the F.A cup

if we took a pasing away from home we would know how far we need to come next season

Give the fringe players a run out in the first couple of rounds then a nice glamour tie against a big PL team, or the small PL team from down West. Be nice to have a good cup run to keep the players not getting much football fresh.
