Could too many new additions upset the apple cart?

Wed Jan 02, 2013 9:15 am

This team has such a work ethic and are grinding down the opposition through their patience, tenacity and serious fitness levels. They are working as a team and not individuals unlike other seasons, do you think too many additons and/or a major signing could upset the way this team has gelled?

I agree we need an out and out goal scorer and maybe another midfielder but this team has the passion and right mental attitude to get us there!

I think we'd go up without any new signings now. But it would be foolish to let the teams
around us strengthen and us not bother. Up front we are obviously doing something right.
But fresh legs and a goalscoring striker cannot fail to add to the mix. Defensively? Who
knows, he might just keep Lappin now? Your right, we dont want or need too much upheaval.

But Vincent Tan will not take any chances now we are so close, I suspect Malky's targets
are already pretty much tied up. Whoever they are

You make a very good point about teams around us strengthening, we also need to take into consideration suspensions and injuries. As we all know MM will not take anyone who has baggage and could be disruptive in the dressing room. In Malky we trust!

Do you mean that other teams are all doing the business in Public?

And Cardiff might just be doing everything professionally, away from the glare of
the media so as not to get gazumped like last January?

We need a few in, by all accounts Malky has done the work and the additions if they come off, will be of suitable quality and character :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Whilst I realise we have to avoid the QPR factor, big names coming in and not trying, Malky is too sharp for that :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Malkay seems to have a knack of bringing in players with good character, I can't see him signing any bad apples who won't fit in

We need a Maynard replacement. I also think we need cover for Whitts and a utility defender but they are not as key as the striker.
