Season Tickets Next Season

Tue Jan 01, 2013 7:14 pm

How many season tickets are gonna be available next season? Did I see somewhere that their are gonna be 20,000 season tickets available and then the rest of the tickets would go on sale to the general public for every game?

I think 20000 will be the cut off and we are near that total.
Im sure prices will go up dramatically for general sale if we get promoted as a lot of fans will start turning up who havent been down the City for years. I hope the club cashes in on the general sale tickets without them being overpriced too much.

I think it would be unfair to increase prices too much cos then loyal fans who have gone down the city for years would miss out on the premiership then simply cos they can't afford the tickets they can be expensive already as they are in this day in age, and what about if we got relegated then they ain't gonna drop the prices back down I doubt it?

none is the answer really, even if stay in premier and increase seats it will only mean more seats for general sale as that's where xtra money is.

Think alot of season ticket holders will wait to see if the Bluebird is removed off our terrible badge before renewing next season :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

If come the end of March we are still on course for the Premier, it won't matter if we have adopted NJ73's version of our badge, there will still be enough new fans to take all the season tickets.

They dont give a flying f**k about 'loyal fans' and evidence to the rebrand would suggest that

Idiot, do you think people won't renew because of the Bluebird, what planet are you on, if we get promoted and the tiny minority don't renew, they will be snapped up by supporters who see the bigger picture, and want the club to progress, we will revert back to blue and also the badge will be back, so stop this pathetic negativity and sit back and enjoy the journey

Season tickets will by effect of there being 4 less home games go up by 21% if we go up. So I'd imagine at least a 20-25% rise in match day prices and the current group discounts, clubcard vouchers and family ticket deals will probably all be gone.

It won't go up by that much. Four less home games but millions more in tv money it's not like they will miss out on them.

Re: Season Tickets Next Season

yes if we stay in the premiership for one season, the second season they will, around the top of the stands, but we have to get there first, and then stay there :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Season tickets won't go up at all because of the price freeze but the effective price per game will be 21% more. So I reckon a match day ticket that currently costs £25 will be £31 and one that costs £30 will be £37.50. I think that's a pretty reasonable increase for the premiership especially as 20,000 of the fans will still have cheap season tickets. The club will really put up the prices for match day hospitality packages and these will be the people who are really stung. The ones who want to entertain business guests at a Man Utd match.

Re: Season Tickets Next Season

over the last few seasons, the club have brought season tickets our early to try and get people in for a certain price, with the possible reward of prem football at that price.

If we keep going at this rate, the owners will delay for a bit as promotion will be practically guarenteed
