First half we were nothing. Thankfully Birmingham were not up too much and only caused one save from Marshall. The goal came against the run of play but it was at the other end and none of us knew how it went in. We thought their keeper saved it then next thing Mason put the ball in the next. I burst out laughing more than cheering. Here we are playing total crapthat would take a lot of practice to achieve. We suffered this for 40 odd minutes then went up their end somehow and scored. I just had to laugh.
The second half was not that much better. This time we had more possession but created hardly anything. The good thing about this was the Birmingham got nowhere near our goal. Cowie came on for Mutch and that did make a difference. Mutch was uh awful. Cowie gave the midfield what was missing, not sure what that was but it certainly stopped the homeside. However we did nothing ourselves. I would say it felt we had won the game half way through the second half and people were taking more interest in the scores of other games.
Bellamy was awesome thonugh, bloody awesome.

And thats how far we've come.
I thought as long as we could get to halftime without conceding, Malky would win the
battle of the managers second half. Very very professional. Malky's teams will forget
about the free-flowing attack attack attack football until the game is won. At 1-0, the
other team is always in it.... So dont give them chances, stifle them, kill the game.
Loving it

Indeed. Definately it was our half the second one. Birmingham struggled after the break to get as close as they did in the first half. Infact they started playing like us in the first half, wayward passes with thier attacks breaking down.

Some may call me negative but we are playing poorly and struggling to win. However we are clear at the top and looking good for promotion.
