Is Darren Bent a realistic target ?

Is Darren Bent a realistic target ? His name has been mentioned on here a few times albeit mostly in jest but how realistic could a loan move be, we know that according to Carl's update City did inquire about his availability.
IMO If Lambert wants to move him on than a loan move would be the best option in January but who would take him on £80,000 a week if none of the top six are interested then where could he go, you could rule out any club likely to involved in the premier relegation battle as that would be suicide by Villa, also if goes to a side pushing for a Europa league spot and starts scoring regular how will that reflect on Paul Lambert's relegation battle to have a player he deems not good enough for Villa but scoring regular for a side chasing a Europa spot. But what if a championship club offered a loan deal compromising of say £30,000 a week upfront and the balance of wages paid in full if promotion is achieved that season plus a promotion bonus/agreed transfer fee. Of course a lot would depend on the player/club for this to happen.

I thought the reason he isnt playing is cause they will have to pay sunderland more money

Cant see that one , Cisse wouldnt suprise me mind think there maybe something in that one.
