Because if I lean over to kiss her and her mouth tastes of smoke then Im gonna have a coughing fit, accidentally hit her in the face causing her to lose control of the wheel and we both crash and game over, we lost. That is why pal. Smoking kills.

Agreed, even though that is hypocritical of me as I smoke in work and when I'm drinking.

mmmm ok what will be next??? did you know nhs staff cannot smoke when have people in car but other occupants can? silly season , going back to original point, if ban smoking in cars ect what will be next on banned list there will be a never ending amount of interference from do gooders, cameras spying on roads? we are already nanny state don't really want it made worse! and I don't smoke! and the ban in bublic places was best thing to happen for me, (suffer breathing problems) so no axe to grind here. :D

Absolutely yes!

Smoking is a disease governed by ignorance which means no thought is often given to others. The government needs to step in to protect the innocent. If you want to ingest 4000 different chemicals is it fair that you do this to others 50 times worse than what has already been banned from public places? It's a no brainer I would say. Smokers also think its ok to litter the street with their butts is that ok too, or yet more ignorance? It should be banned from being sold to people who are 16 after a set day and phased out. Anyone who supports smoking Is fuelling suffering within the next generation.

No, let people do what the f**k they want in their own cars for crying out loud. What next? Banning radios?

It's pathetic.

Although I dislike smoking personally, its not up to me to decide what people want to do in their own vehicles. So unfortunately no.

Re: should smoking be banned in cars?

If i want to smoke in my own car i will. If i have a passenger who moans, they have the option to get out and walk, they arent forced to get a lift.

Im a non smoker to.

Re: should smoking be banned in cars?

I don't understand why it's okay to smoke in the car but if you use your mobile then you are the child of satan who should be executed on the spot. Smoking while driving is far worse, searching for your fags because they fell under the seat, doing a moon dance because you dropped your lit fag and you need to stamp it out before it burns the carpet. You see people all the time rolling up a fag whilst drivng, fecking nutters!

The othet point is, how many times do I see people smoking in their car on the school run. Yeah nice one you fat smelly bitch. Send your kids to school smelling like a tramps vest why don't you. Yes they stink! Because you are a selfish bitch who can't wait half and hour to jack up on your habbit when your kids are not about to suffer!

Ban it? Yes!
Why? Because some people are not capable of a bit of common sense. Selfish feckers!

Totally agree apart from the last bit Al, I dont think smoking should be banned in public places, I think there should be room for it to be isolated, why I say this is because I am fed up of walking in town and people outside blowing smoke in my sons face. People have the option to go into a pub for example, but my son does not have that option of walking outdoors. great point tho.

Yes you are right Luke, it is very rude. I'd love to get hold of a big smelly farting cow and stand outside a pub with it. Just to see if the smokers complain about the smell.

No objections if seperate rooms. But many places didnt have one! i will go in room with friends who smoke. Just better generally if no smoking in public places
