Kevin McNaughton, new contract?

His contract is up at the end of the season, would you offer him a new one?


Personally I would, he's been a great servant to the club and I believe he could be a decent backup defender in the Prem for us next year should we go up, as he can play anywhere across the back and on his day he's one of the best defenders in the league. He said he would sign in an instant and he loves it here. I'd hate to see him leave

I think he is aware that he is dropping down the pecking order. With Connolly taking his place and the possibility of another full back coming in January

it pains me to say this cause for years he`s showed us outstanding service but i think his best days are gone BUT as a sub then yes! .... thats if thats what he wants!

definate yes for me, just because he wouldnt be a first teamer in the prem (if we get there) doesnt mean he couldnt do a job.

If we do go up, which is looking very likely, he could always be put on a passing course, like Rudy and others have been on a sprinting course with Darren Campbell.
Also I don't think we need another right back in January. Kev is more than capable, one of the best in the division. Connolly can also play there although he is better as a CB.
