Brilliant game today fair play.
Could easily have blown up when Whitts and their player went down hurt in the build up to the goal but could see the advantage was too great and played on. Brilliant decision.
Weve had some shocking refs this season but I thought Halsey was top class today.

Only good referee in the system. Made one mistake in a big game and very rarely gets the opportunity to officiate them again which is entirely wrong. What you just mentioned he loves doing. He loves to keep play going and flowing and he is very good when it comes to getting his point across with players. He is the complete opposite of the referee we had vs Palace who had a fetish for blowing his whistle.

There was no anti chants to the ref at all.

Didnt seem to make any rash decisions. Even when their player made a meal of that tangle with Gunar near the dugouts he just kept calm, kept his cards in his pockets.
Could easily have booked Noone for verbals but gave him a good old fashioned wag of the finger and telling off instead.

So many times he played advantage. Players flagged offside, and he just let players sort them selves out instead of a free kick being given.
Could have given a few fouls, but to be fair those were not that bad, Noones spring up and counter attack for instance.
I also felt he dealt with Bellamy well, was always talking to him when he was kicking off.

Yet for this he got abuse. Even though Evans was two footed, Shelvey could have snapped his leg in two.

My only criticism was when one of our players passed the ball and he got in the way, to which I shouted "get out the way you fat b*stard!" Apart from that he was fine mind and he also handled the Conway judo wrestling throw well too when their player wouldn't get off him, anyone else see that?

Yep, all good points.
We are quick to have a go at referees so credit where some is due.

Very good ref who was happy to let the game flow and allow the strikers on either side to have a right old battle with their opposing centre half

Can we have him for all our games until he does something to annoy us

Just remembered that Conway actually had a little incedent which gave them a free kick, not sure if he got his yellow then, but another ref might have sent him off.

Against palace, the ref made it about him.
Today it was about the football.

he always looked to play advantage and let the game flow ..... world class referee

One of the best ref's out there. Surprised he was our referee today, should be officiating premier league games

best ref performance at the ccs by miles, his use of the advantage system should be studied by other refs!
