only once today did I see him head the ball , I say once it was 3 times in the same challenge , come of a player he headed the ball it came back , he headed it again didn't go that far tried again and this time missed it.
He keeps bottling it in a 50/50 ball and just sticks out the odd leg now and again, I like what Whitts can do but the last few game he don't even look half the player he was.
At the start of last season Malky told all the players ,that our defense started up front , and Whitts was putting a few good tackles which help to break up attacks from the other team.
Now he is just backing off , backing off & backing off , if he put a few more tackles in at least it would stop them in midfield. Ok he may not be a winner Midfielder but when its only you and another player running at you surely to god have a go. Not just back off all the time , or just stick one leg out, and think ok that's it.

Dave he is being used in front of the back four. And Whitts himself said at the beginning of the season he doesn't like playing that deep. He can't produce the magic that we know he can do. And in my opinion he is wasted in the position that can be filled by many. But no one can do the attacking central role as well as Whitts can

Which means if the Posh was to do that, and other teams were to go on a bad run on five games they could shoot up the table, and the season is only half way through. They are around 20 points off the play offs and in 22nd place dumbo how can all the clubs in between them and 6th place go on a losing run of 5 games.

I feel not only should he Attack more but more than once on Saturday he had a good chance of getting a 50/50 ball but all he did was stick out a leg and then pull away, Most of the other players has gone out for a game or 2 with knock why ? cos they get stuck in. Ok you could say but we dont wont Whitts out, so Malky may have said stay away . But I don't thing so, Malky want all players starting from the front to defend as well as attack , his words not mine.

Whitts has done nothing for weeks. Yes he can deliver great corners and free kick but his contribution to the game is minimal. Cant tackle cant head the ball so why is he in the centre of midfield. Perhaps he needs a kick up the backside by being dropped. Gunnarsson is by a mile our best midfield player. Play Mutch alongside him in the absence of Whitts. Mutch seemed to be finding some form when he came on against Milwall.

If he played to the high standards he sets every week, it’s as simple as this - He wouldn’t be playing for us

Some of our fans are so frigging stupid its embarrassing. Whitts has been class all season. He's not Messi. Unless our players do everything and anything people moan. Sod off with your moaning culture and bad attitude, we've been immense so far this season and look at the top scorers chart, not one player on it because the contribution is coming from every player working hard.
