We never played well today, but thats a sign of a good promotion team when you grind out win after win at home no matter how you play. Marshal in my opinion has to be in our top 3 players of the season so far, 3 great saves today.
What I like about Malky's teams are if we lose one game like the Peterborough game, we go on another great run, it happens all the time under Malky.![]()

Not a bad crowd 24,000 incl 400 odd Millwall, but we deserve full houses every home game in my opinion especially as we now have nearly 20,000 Season ticket holders.![]()

I thought we played really well in the first half, some great link up play between Taylor, Conway and Bellamy on the left. And the same on the right with Kev, Noone and again Bellamy. Although the second half was filled with hoofball (Turner and Marshall).
Another good performance from SuperKev who should keep his place again for Brum. Surely we can now start to believe

Corky im starting to believecorky wrote:That is our amazing points tally from home games...we now have almost 20,000 season ticket holders and are averaging over 22,200 home crowds.
Many times during this period we have had to work our nuts off to win...Huddersfield, Watford, Palace and today again but the team kept going and although not always playing great they always work hard to win vital points.
It was hard today especially when the Gunner was injured but I felt when Cowie came on and HH the threat from Millwall ended along with the threat from us to be fair....Bellamy and Conway were excellent for the majority of the game and Marshall made a couple of top saves but the points were more important than the performance today...and who would have imagined we would get 9 out of 9 over Xmas..Leicester away ,Palace and Millwall at home were all potential loses for us.
Well done City and happy new year to everyon

Jack, We started the game well, took control of it, but as the game went on, it felt like we were just happy to keep it at 1 nil, I'm not moaning, well chuffed with 3pts.

In fairness Annis I don't think there were an awful lot of spare seats left by kick-off time, apart from 1600 in the Millwall end, segregation and a few hundred in the Premier lounge.
24200 is 2600 short of capacity, 1600 spare in the away end, 500 ish for segregation (maybe more) doesn't leave an awful lot left.
Given the season tickets sold now tickets are going to be hard to come by, for example only 3000 left for sale for Ipswich now.
and no doubt a few sell out crowds, just as it should be.
