Some of Malky's ways have an essence of Fergie about them

1. He speaks very passionately about the club, the fans, and the players with authority
2. He harasses linesmen and referees and likes to make his point known and rightly so - pure passion to me
3. He is very protective of his players
4. His mind games have been brilliant so far
5. He knows how to deal with awkward situations - look at Conway's response
6. He knows how to get the best out of young players - Mason, Nugent, etc.
7. He knows how to work the media

Malky is very talented but I don't think he will ever be a legendary manager like Ferguson but it is crazy how they both share a lot of the same traits and characteristics and both teams are responding and are top of their respective leagues. Ever since Malky has come in there seems to be more of a togetherness, that only those involved with the club matter, sort of like a family unit.

Why are Scots such good managers?
