What a great gesture by the club

Fri Dec 28, 2012 7:21 pm

My ex-wifes partner suffered a major stroke about 4 weeks ago and although he was able to go home on Christmas and Boxing day is expected to be in hospital until March.

Caewyn is only in his early 50's, a season ticket holder and sat in the Ninian stand. My son today went down the ticket office to purchase a half season ticket so when he is better will have the support he needs to watch City again.

What has amazed us all, is when he is well enough to go not only have they moved him to the disabled section they have provided the family with a carers ticket which was free.

THIS TRULY IS THE BEST CLUB IN THE WORLD AND AS A SEASON TICKET HOLDER MYSELF MAKES ME PROUD TO BE ASOCIATED WITH THIS GREAT CLUB.

This should be a sticky. Fair play, Malky gets praise when its due but this is the CLUB
doing the right thing.

They really are a good club. I used to go down with my brother and dad in the disabled section until my dad died just after the West Ham away game last year. The club allowed us to stay in the disabled section and allowed us to bring my nephew instead for the whole season. Wayne Nash spoke to us personally and even offered us the chance to come and pick seats anywhere for the following season (He put his foot down when I mentioned the directors box!!). Eventually we plumped for the family stand as I now take my 4 year old son down too. It was a very difficult period for us, but the club made every effort to accomodate us.

Nice to see they continue their good work. I hope he makes a full recovery and sees us get into the permiership.

Pity there wasn't a "like" button on here as in facebook -I'm pretty sure you would have the most likes to date. Good luck for the future.

I would like to give my good wishes to all City fans everywhere who at this time are not in the best of health. I trust the great football our team are playing helps to lift your spirits also.

I think you will find that every club, provides a free ticket for carers with a disabled person.

also if you go to away games most clubs offer the free carer ticket also. some clubs have less disabled/carer tickets than others but just ask at the C.C.S. ticket office if you fancy going to an away day and they willl sort you out :ayatollah:
