Administration

Fri Dec 28, 2012 9:07 am

Should Crystal Palace receive £20M for Zaha like they think he's worth, should they be allowed to keep the money, or should they only be given 10p in the pound like their creditors have when they have gone into administration on a couple of occasions? It does not seem right that a club who can't afford to pay their bills can a season or two later sell a player for this amount of money. Is the 10 point deduction a sufficient punishment for going into administration? Or should clubs have to apply to rejoin the football league at a lower level like AFC Wimbledon or Rangers? Thoughts please.

you have a good point tbh

there should be a ruling that if any club goes into admin any future proceeds from player sales should pay off towards debt

now then , Joe Allen, Scott Sinclair :D

Our debts have been paid as them who lost out all them years back still involved with the club and as made money.
Ps it was 800k.
You are in position to mock us with the debt you have.

I'd like to hear how they have repaid Swansea Council, Inland Revenue and Leekes back, to name but three. if they have paid some and not others then their directors could face lengthy bans from office.

The guy spouts bollox every time he posts.

On the original topic we need to be careful what we wish for as if VT has a change of heart we'll be in admin too.

They must be too used to this whole 10p in the pound malarkey. £2m seems much more realistic  I genuinely believe we will go up (if not win the league) this season. This will see the Langstone debt settled and Tan to deliver his promises.

Yes we are on this matter. YOU went into administration, we never have. We mock at will where this is concerned.

On the topic subject matter, I believe there should be new rules concerning any club that goes into administration for a SECOND and subsequent times.

The points penalty for the first admin is good, but IF. A club is in the relegation zone when they go into administration their point total should be held over in case they are relegated. We all know how Leeds went into administration an hour after they knew they were being relegated hoping the points were taken off them in the current season.

Wasn't it Leicester's situation that brought about the ten point deduction? If I remember correctly they built their stadium then went into administration owing all their contractors, later on and without debt they got to the Premier League.

The biggest joke is a club can choose to go into administration so there is no doubt clubs have manipulated this.
