What a surreal day that was, it was like we borrowed a ground for a home game.

Wrexham away that year was also pretty impressive, not sure how many travelled but Worldclass atmosphere.

Yes it was, We filled top and bottom of behind the goal and Atmosphere Superb EDDIE EDDIE EDDIE MAY.

I was there as an 11 year old, not many my age can say that!! Most of my mates were plastics, i was brought up the correct way. Support your local team, whether good or bad, thru the good times and bad. Real supporters

Full of plastics we only took 63 nest time we played them 1.1 draw

immense, didn't start till 1994 though me....dad was on the dole back then and footy was a treat!

A fabulous end to my favourite ever season as a City fan. Scunthorpe was a great day out but Wrexham was my favourite trip.

Officially there were 4,000 of us at the Racecourse but I reckon it was more like 12,000! Everything about that day was superb. The bus journey up (which culminated in us watching the Welsh Cup game a few days earlier beating Wrexham), the game which we won 2 nil and the atmosphere which was out of this world!

I loved being a City fan in those days, more than life itself!

It was actually one of my favorite days ever, only pipped by the birth of my kids.

For me that was the day when the 'sleeping giant' started to wake up.

I remember the sheff utd fa cup game, 1st class support.

I remember my brother telling me about the away support at Wrexham,the first time we played them for years must have been around 77.There was so many city fans they could'nt fit them all in the away end.Apparently they took their end,anybody on here remember that?

Never forget that day was brilliant atmosphere from start to finish
