o driscoll had them playing good attacking football and a few additions in januray like a number of teams could have seen forest right up there
Seems to be a very disorganised mess behind the scenes up there

He got Brum promoted so you can sort of see why they'd go for him. His managerial stock has plummeted since the league Cup Final be interesting.

Alex McLeish has been appointed the new manager of Nottingham Forest.

The 53-year-old former Aston Villa, Birmingham and Scotland boss replaces Sean O'Driscoll, who was sacked on 26 December after five months in charge.

"I believe he's the man who can help us fulfil our ambition of making it to the Premier League," said Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi.

McLeish said: "The fact a club of Forest's magnitude has offered me a job excites me greatly."

A bust up between Sean and the owner over allowing the players have a Christmas do or something.

he got blues promoted at first attempt.mcjudas generally didn,t get the blame for the relegation as he arrived end of nov .bruce tended to get blamed but bruce only had 14 games that season.we had odd moments of good football but generally it,s every points a prisoner.brian clough will be spinning

I always liked Sean and if DJ was sacked earlier he was my choice to replace him. Not sure he was moved with the times tho.

Forest should have been doing better, still very harsh and the replacement odd.

He's definitely good enough for the championship and will be backed in January and with the squad he already has I wouldn't be surprised to see him challenge for autos with us now.

Plays some dire football but it works.
