Refusing to do the :ayatollah: .......Shocking  But bellers made sure when he was leaving the pitch with mom trophy he did it :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I was guilty of trying to get him to do the ayatolla and also chanting his name. Later I regretted this as we always moan about not getting behind the team and one of the loudest chants was for one of there players!!!

Saying that though I can think of a few x players that have actually done it!!

I thought he played ok too

:ayatollah:

Did anyone else notice his ridiculous pace?

At one point the ball was knocked down field, with only Gabbidon and Bellamy chasing. Craig had no chance.

I really can't remember him having lightning speed.

Gabbidon always had alot of pace hence why he was a full back when we signed him from West Brom.

I noticed that he outpaced Bellamy without too much trouble!

Was also waiting for him to make that "once every game" excursion beyond the halfway line and he didn't disappoint with his shot that went miles wide and over. Some things never change!

Could have done an :ayatollah: after the game but no doubt the wurzul knobend would have been on his case had he actually done one.

I thought he played well, on that showing he would have been decent back up here.

i agree with this.... plus danny has always had pace, as for the chase with bellers, he had a good few yards advantage over bellamy so was always favorite to the ball.

Be fair though, how bad would that be if he did do it? His team are 1-0 down and he'd just had a shot that was closer to the corner flag than the goal. I'd be fuming if I were a Palace fan ff he'd topped that off by doing :ayatollah:
He had a good game bar that shot, proved he's still got it. Hopefully he can maintain that form and force his way back into the Welsh setup.

In fairness to Gabbidon he was only loudly asked (or first time I heard) to do the :ayatollah: after he fcked up with a shit shot  bit of a piss take  also everytime he was asked he had defensive duties to deal with.
Sad he couldn't/wouldn't do it after the game tho.
