Standing in the ninian yesterday

A large section of the ninian standing yesterday was great to see!
Even heard 1 or 2 songs coming from that section.
What was it like there? Was it a case of to many people standing so they couldn't do anything about it?
Thought the atmosphere was one of the best I've seen for a while. The ref helped with regards to the atmosphere some very strange decisions even sometimes in our favour
My fav home game of the season so far. Even people around me that don't sing were giving it loud
Thought that palace fans were poor

i was in ninian 117 for yesterdays game and the first half i could only really hear the palace fans but after we equalised the atmosphere and noise from our fans was electric! second half the palace fans didnt even bother singing that much and it was all cardiff. I usually go in the canton end and to be fair you can barely hear the canton from the ninian!

My season ticket is at the back of 117 and there's usually about half of the block from the back standing up and singing. Yesterday it was the best it has been all season, I can only imagine that it's going to be like that for the rest of the season if we stay top.

Im a season ticket holder in 117 and friendly with a steward who always says to me that they will tell ppl to sit down once to make it look like they are doing something but then will leave it. Which ties in with what i see each week.
I much prefer standing and i feel that i get in to the game more and it helps the atmosphere.

Said exactly the same thing to the fella sat next to me. Most I've seen stood up in that section for a long time. I'm shocked that us in the Canton can't be heard by Ninian 117..... The acoustics in that stadium are dreadful.

Contrary to what you think, the acoustics are actually very good. The most noise is heard in the most important place - the pitch - The players are most impressed.
