Agreed.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering things differently but I'm pretty sure I got slated for defending rudy, I think he's a good player but needs a kick up the arse.

Gestede shouldn't even be playing in the Championship, let alone starting for a club who's top of the league.
Gunnarsson should definitely start ahead of Mutch though.

Defenitely. Was thinking Rudy should have started today would have given much more problems to their back four. Jedinak was their only source of height and he was dropping into their back four to win the headers. As soon as Rudy came on he wasnt able to. He defended really well today and also held up the ball brilliantly. People like to slag him off because he isnt a big name.

Its funny how Rudy has done nothing wrong.
Gestede, McNaughton, Mutch you lot are a disgrace and I couldn't believe you contributed to the team for winning, shameful.

Gunners should be starting over Mutch, Rudy isn't good enough. Look at the strikers other teams who got promotion had in previous seasons, compare them to Rudy.
Id have Mason before Rudy any day and Id be worried if Rudy was starting, He's done absolutly nothing and doesn't look like doing anything.

It wouldn't be undeserved.

The thing with Gunnar and Mutch is that they have both been a little inconsistent, but consistent in one being better than the other on a given match day.
A few games back people were slating Gunnar for giving away free kicks which did end up in goals. He also came on a few times and scored goals e.g. Watford.
Mutch is a different style of player in my eyes, much more aggressive playing style from what I have seen of him this season, but maybe today he was suffering from some undercooked turkey who knows. He has played very well in some games this season such as Leicester.
Players have off days, people seem to only remember when a current player is good or bad, not how they are over time.

I'm not Rudy's biggest fan but he has undoubtedly stepped up when needed this season. Both him and Gunnar deserve a start against Millwall if Malky is picking on form. Helgusson needs a rest and Mutch was way off the pace yesterday whereas Gunnar changed the game not just because of his goal but we started to have some bite in midfield when he came on.

Have to say Rudy has improved rapidly over the last few games. Hopefully he'll keep improving

Gunnar merits a start in saturday, not rudy though.

Agreed! I don't get why people keep slating rudy last 2-3 games he's improved massively and has done nothing wrong.

gunnarsson must start for me over mutch... gunnarsson offers far more to his all round game, with and without the ball!! rudy is best off on the bench... he was poor yesterday, had a couple of chances that should av done better with and looked to indecisive at times.
