' CRAIG BELLAMY NOT SO IMPRESSED '

Wed Dec 26, 2012 8:15 pm

Just watched his MOTM interview and when asked:
Craig Bellamy

'what did you think of the great support today'?

Bellamy said 'it was ok... I just remember the first 10-15 minutes when fans were boo'ing back passes. the thing is we just need to keep the ball sometimes "

We didn't boo the team at all :? The only time we boo'd during the match was when the ref didn't give a player a yellow card when he should've.

Some fans were booing as they weren't used to our patient build up. I thought most fans were happy though, we chanted as soon as we conceded. We were booing the referee more than anything

No-one booed our players at all. There were many ref decisions which were but on the whole our support was very good today. It was really rocking pre-kick-off, then died when they scored, but second half was great.
What's Bellamy on about????

I didn't hear any booing either. But the team
Did play shit in the first half but that wasn't the fans fault.
Excellent second half though :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Wouldn't say it was booing, more groaning.

He has a point though! I'd rather it go back to Marshall than that idiot Turner who just knocks it long all the time!!!

Sorry I cant remember hearing anyone Booooo at all today, well only when ours players was hit by Palace Sorry I think Craig got that wrong

The word he was looking for was groaning but he has to accept we weren't very good for first 30 mins or so with us struggling to string a move together.

Credit to Malky as even though we had equalised , he made a change. Likewise bringing Mason and not Cowie or Kim on when we went 2-1 up.

You must be deaf if you say they weren't booing. Most of the Canton and half of the Ninian were booing it. It wasn't 'booing', it was just very loud, aggravated remarks by the crowd.

Bellamy mentions 'passing the ball' a bit, yet it did f**k all and Palace could have scored another 3. Then they ACTUALLY STARTED ATTACKING PROPERLY and viola we scored.

Only booing the ref because he was so poor. There were groans as you dont like to see our players constantly passing backwards to Marshall when we should be pushing onwards

He's right about one thing,,,keeping the ball. I thought we gave it away too cheaply (again) today.

It was right what people around me today were saying, for the first 20mins or more it looked and felt like the posh game all over again.

Watch this, here's the interview. He says "ONE OR TWO BOOS", he's not unimpressed at all.

The fans often moan and groan (not boo, like he says) when the ball is played around the back four or back to Marshall. Bellamy is spot on - the ball has to be kept.

Their was a lot of huffs and puffs and they were very loud and there is no point in denying it like we are best supporters.

There was a load of huffs and puffs because Marshall played it to Hudson then he knocked it to Taylor who had to play it back under pressure.

Were cardiff city afc - the blue birds - bellamy you got it completely wrong - first half many errors were made and fans may show there expressions - but whats more important is that the team keeps playing well - keeps strong play as a unit -

i thought the players celebration at end of the game was fantastic clapping all the fans all around the ground - bellers was last off due to man of the match and he put his bottle of champaign down at end of game to do the ayotolla to all the fans -

spot on ---- but CCS will never be any where near as good as the old lady Ninian Park ...

just cant get stadium rocking and away fans still take the piss .....

Sometimes it feels like the fans think we should be 2 nil up in the first 15 mins!!

Bellers is right

Sorry to say this but Bellamy is spot on. Not so much the booing, but yeh, loads of moaning,
slagging players off etc etc. To be honest its like many on this board. Unless Cardiff City
are winning 3-0 after 5 minutes, some dipsticks will look for faults, problems, errors rather
than see the positives. Because he was right about the back-passes too. We werent getting
it right, so sooner than lose the ball, or over compensate, or try and force it... Slow the
game down and wait our chance. Which we did. Slowly but surely, we choked Palace of
possession and particularly in the second half we looked a better team. When your team is
a little off the pace, do you think it best to push everyone forward when your 1 down...Or
regroup, get it together, be patient.

Common sense: Patience.

Some Cardiff City fans: No patience (or knowledge of the game)

Last half hour the place was rocking I thought!!!

I love the way the fans look for excuses.

Totally agree. It drives me mental when the "groans" ring out by some just because the ball goes backwards sometimes. Ffs it's like they expect us to score every time we have the ball

Mate, when we're under pressure, its cos the other team are on top. Best idea right there
and then is NOT to give them the ball

I'm sure we have donuts in the crowd thinking:

"Why didn't Taylor press 'X' and 'O' at the same time as '>'...... He'd have nutmegged Zaha then!!"

Clueless fuckers

The other team is never on top, it's just us sitting back!
Great analogy though and sadly true for quite a few  :ayatollah:

Yeah we did, not me personally but I could hear the boos when we were going backwards...
