Lost his job despite beating Leeds!
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:04 pm
What the actual f**k? He's a quality manager.
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:05 pm
Always liked him as a manager, odd decision, I did think they would be higher up the league tho at this point.
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:06 pm
8th in the league, just a few points of 6th, decent form, brilliant win over the in form Leeds, sacked. Strange, decent manager too, did well with Donny.
Just like Lee Clarke with Hudders and Gary Megson with Wednesday last season, odd decision
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:08 pm
They must have someone already lined up to sack him now.
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:10 pm
Bet they've already got a replacement sorted.I suppose if your gonna do this then its the right time to do it.The new fella will be able to bring in some fresh faces.

Could well be, could well be, bless em
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:14 pm
I've heard it's Curbishley..
I think they should be higher up though, Sharp & Cox upfront with Lansbury in the center..
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:18 pm
Billy Sharp is the sort of player we should be looking at.

I'm not sure if it was a six month loan or a season long but I'd love someone like him here

He will probably want to leave after O'Driscoll being sacked, they've worked together for some time.
Wed Dec 26, 2012 7:42 pm
I think Hughes is on his way there.

If you looked at the form of Hudders and Shef Wed last season you'd see that they were reaosnable decisions, they'd been in absolutely awful form and it was only their first half of the season form that was keeping them where they were. Shef Wed had won once in ten iirc.
Still. This decisions is absolutely insane. They could have signed a couple of players in January and launched a real assault against the top 6 or even top 2. Now though I feel they'll be lucky to get anything more than top half.

Possible relationship between the manager and owners could play part the rumour is.

Let's hope so, that'll rule them out of getting a decent run going

They could be going for it. premiership manager with a lot of cash to spend. If they gel watch out. Lets hope for a month of 'getting to know each other' by then we can be out of sight and nearly up.

How can anyone see them going to improve?
I rate O'Driscoll and they will only fall from here.
A christmas break is a rumour to all of this.

I to rate him but it depends who comes in and how they spend the money they seem to be willin to spend.
Thu Dec 27, 2012 12:35 am
The rumour is something to do with a players break.
The owner didn't want one to happen and the manager give them on or something..
